Public Program Schedule

We offer monthly programs to the general public usually conducted in the field at locations throughout Western New York. From time to time we also lead excursions to locations such as the Everglades, the Adirondacks and Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario. See the schedule below for current programming.

Winter Survival Skills

Maple Sugaring – Past and Present

Taylor Road Park, Hamburg

Sharing the methods of sap collection and maple sugaring preparation as practiced by Native Americans, early settlers and modern day producers. Following the program, a delicious pancake brunch will be served featuring our locally produced maple syrup.
FEES:
Adults: $12
Children (under 12): $7
Includes program and brunch. Cosponsored by the Hamburg Recreation Department. Please register through the Recreation Department by calling (716) 646-5145 or visiting their website.

All programs require pre-registration, which may be done online, by phone or email. When registering by email or phone, please specify the number of adults and children who will attend and provide a contact phone number. Children 5 to 12 may attend for 1/2 price unless otherwise indicated.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Paid registered participants must inform Earth Spirit via phone or email of inability to attend a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the scheduled program in order to receive a refund. If a program is cancelled by Earth Spirit, all paid participants will receive a full refund. Refunds will be made by check and mailed via the United States Postal Service within 10 business days following the program date.
