Wildlife Ecology & Surveys

Includes an introduction with a collection of wildlife pelts and skulls focused upon seasonal adaptations followed by a field and forest hike in search of animal sightings and signs.

Wilderness First Aid Course
This course follows a curriculum established by the wilderness medical society and was designed by the CDS Outdoor School. The course consists of two parts – online course work, and one “classroom” session.
Online course work
The online portion of the course will open October 1st. You will receive a link to access the online course once you register. You will have approximately two weeks to complete this portion as it will take a little while.
The “classroom” portion of the course will take place on Sunday, October 21. The session will begin at 9:00am and will run approximately 8hrs. The location will be announced when we have our final numbers.
This course will be facilitated by a certified instructor, Russ Crispell, not by an Earth Spirit staff member, and will cost $100. This cost covers your registration for the course, as well as any materials you you’re given throughout.
