Join experienced Alaskan trip leaders on an Alaskan “Glamping” Adventure this coming May! Spend days traveling and exploring a wide variety of unique environments from the Talkeetna, the gateway to the mountains of Denali National Park, to the Matanuska glacier, and the shore at Seward. Spend nights in cozy cabins, sharing meals, and getting to know your fellow travelers and local haunts. The experience will be focused on providing a general ecological overview of southern Alaska and will include many wildlife viewing/photographic opportunities as well as short day hikes and other experiences in the wilderness areas. This trip will not disappoint!

Each day will be unique and since we will be exploring a wide variety of unique environments throughout this giant state. The travel will be well worth it as each day will bring a new place to explore and experience. Participants must be willing to be flexible as plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather and local availabilities.

Travel
Guests should plan to arrive at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport on May 20th and plan on taking their hotel shuttle to the local hotel for the first night’s stay (Participants are responsible for hotel accommodations on or before the 20th. Flights are not arranged by Earth Spirit nor are they included in the cost of the excursion. Earth Spirit staff will coordinate picking up all participants from their hotel by 8:00am on May 21st. All local travel throughout the trip will be in a large van(s) driven by the trip leaders. Departure flights from Alaska will be after 7pm on May 30th. Should participants wish to stay beyond May 30th, hotel accommodations will be their responsibility.

Accommodations
Accommodations will be included in the trip’s cost and will be variable depending on locations and availability. Most lodging will be semi-communal with the option for individuals or couples to request private rooms at an additional cost.*

Food
Most meals are included in the cost of the trip. Meals will be either prepared by the trip leaders or purchased for guests while on the road or in town. As food options are limited in Alaska, especially away from the city, it will be difficult to accommodate all food preferences/allergies. Please make any preferences or allergies known when registering and we will do our best to accommodate. There will be a couple instances where guests will be on their own for dinner at restaurants (2-3 times) and guests will be made aware of this ahead of time.

- A $1,000.00 deposit is due by 03/01/2024
- The remaining balance is due by 04/01/2024
- Once minimum registration is reached, the trip is a "go" and deposit(s) are not refundable
